If you're still having a hard time separating the Bitcoin hype from the potential of blockchain technologies, do yourself a favor and get informed. The decentralized, peer-to-peer open-ledger approach to authenticating and validating anything from pharmaceutical transportation to rental agreements to the ownership and transfer of fine art is the most important evolution to the internet since its mass adoption. Fake news, hacked elections, lost identities...these shortcomings are all indicative of a system that is neither efficient nor effective, and certainly not sustainable. Enter blockchain, with its hope for a more equitable coordination and delivery of digital goods and services. It's exciting to be here, in the now, to witness it all!
