How the Sausage is made..

Mike just returned from a two-week visit to the Catholic University in Milan where he worked together with colleague and friend Professor Benedetto Cannatelli to push forward the "Made in Italy" research grant. To get a clearer picture of the operational side of "Made in Italy", Mike visited the headquarters and production facilities of Fratelli Beretta, Italy's largest provider of cold cuts. The visit included in-depth Q&A with Lorenzo Beretta, 7th generation family owner and manager, to learn about the domestic and global expansion plans. The best part of the visit? Watching the slicing machines busting out thousands of packs of ham. Fascinating!
